The National Food Security Strategy

Meredith Phillips, Senior Policy Analyst, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

Meredith joined Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in 2024 as part of the team delivering the Food Policy for Canada, a whole-of-government initiative to align and coordinate federal food-related initiatives. In her current role, she contributed to the development of the National Food Security Strategy and is working with stakeholders and partners across governments and sectors to advance the objectives of the Strategy to build a more affordable and more resilient food system in Canada.
