On November 23rd, it was our pleasure to have Joanne Hutchinson as our guest speaker.  She is founder of Socio-Economic And Environmental Development Solutions (SEEDS). SEEDS collects non-GMO vegetable seeds from sources in Toronto. They then package them and send them to the people in 5 cities in Zambia. In return, the people collect fallen tree seeds which they plant to reforest communities and sell the tree seedlings to private game parks to plant to feed elephants.  Joanne also told us about how she got started doing this and what her organization is currently doing.
