Ian is the executive director of the Anglican United Refugee Alliance.

AURA is a Canadian charitable organization, representing the Anglican Diocese of Toronto and Toronto Conference of the United Church of Canada, a groups that assists in the sponsorship and resettlement of refugees. U.N. statistics reveal that 51.2 million people have been forcibly displaced worldwide: 16.7 million are refugees, 1.2 million are asylum seekers and 33.3 million are internally displaced people.
