    3. Arrange for someone to introduce the speaker knowledgeably and succinctly.
    4. Arrange for someone to thank the speaker and, where appropriate, to present a cheque.
    5. Where appropriate, contact Jeff Harrison about any cheque presentations. Do so at least two weeks ahead of the event.
    6. Review with the President or presider the agenda for the meeting.
    7. Ensure someone is designated for the invocation; provide a script if required.
    8. Arrange photography with Jim Hawtin.
    9. Provide the Secretary, Bill Dunk-Green, with a description of the up-coming meetings for the Club website.
    10. Be creative in your ideas for meetings to make them more inviting and engaging.
    11. Ensure that any guests are welcomed at the door and introduced at the meetings. Ensure that guests, especially prospective members, are seated with members who will engage them in discussions over lunch.

POD Leader and Assistant:
    1. Begin communicating with your members at least 8 weeks ahead of time. Look for speakers and ideas for social activities or hands-on activities.
    2. Give everyone something to do over the year. Obligate every team member to bring forward a speaker or to make a presentation or organize an event.
    3. Identify the Rotary Theme for your month and decide how it will be addressed.
    4. Meet with the Administration Committee or its chair (John Ryall) at least a month ahead of time and outline your month’s plan.

SPEAKER FOLDER:
    1. Shaheynoor Talukder of the Administration Committee will prepare a folder with ideas for speakers which will be posted on Google Docs. POD leads looking for speaker ideas may access this list. If you know of people who would be good selections as speakers and your POD does not wish to use that opportunity, please send the information to Shaheynoor for the folder.
