4. Arrange for someone to thank the speaker and, where appropriate, to present a cheque.

POD Co-Leads:

1. Begin communicating with your members at least 10 weeks ahead of time. Look for speakers and ideas for social activities or hands-on activities.

2. Give everyone something to do over the year. Encourage every team member to bring forward a speaker or to make a presentation or organize an event.

3. Identify the Rotary Theme for your month and decide how it will be addressed.

4. Email Shaheynoor (Admin Committee Chair) and Bill Dunk-Green (Admin Committee Webmaster) with your month’s plan, which should include speakers for each week, the member designated for invocation, and the person designated to introduce and thank the speaker.

SPEAKER FOLDER:

1. The Speakers List documents is available via Google Docs for POD leads looking for speaker idea. If you know of people who would be good selections as speakers and your POD does not wish to use that opportunity, please send the information to Shaheynoor for the folder.
